He was predeceased by: his spouse Pat Rogers Davis of Seneca; his parents, Coaxie Ivory and Ora Colleen Medlin Davis; his brothers, Frank, Johnny, Truman and Tommy Davis; his grandson Trey Stargel; and his son-in-law Aaron Stargel.

He is survived by: his children, Larry "Steven" Davis, Jr., Stephanie Stockman (Tony) and Laura Stargel; his sisters, Sarah Owens, Florine Owens and Betty Davis; his grandchildren, Haley Smith, Hayden Long, Gracie Stockman, Gabe Stockman, Cody Stargel, Tiffany Stargel and Patrick Davis; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Smith, Ila Grace Smith, Hayes Long, River Stargel, Grayson and Jeremy Davis; and his pet Taco Bell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
