With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Laite Edlund of Seneca, South Carolina, born in Waycross, Georgia, who passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis Laite and William Laite. She is survived by : her husband Herbert Richard Edlund; her daughters, Ann Edlund of Charleston, SC and Karyn Jean "Kaje" Daguerre; her son-in-law Fernando of Chapel Hill, NC; and her grandchildren, Anna Monique and John F. Daguerre.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mark United Methodist Church (616 Quincy Rd, Seneca, SC 29678).
