She is survived by: her children, Jim Thigpen (Dawn) and Sydney Mellard (David); her sister Sydney Lynn Jones (Bobby); her grandchildren, Caroline Clark (Spencer), Meredith Hawks (Ryan), Owen Thigpen (Brittany), Matthew Thigpen (Nelly) and Hannah Brown (Landon); and her great grandchildren, Gray Thigpen, Bonnie Clark and Ford Hawks. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
