She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamar Lanford and Mary Campbell Lanford. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Alton Joseph Barnett; her children, Al Barnett (Andrea) of Westminster, SC, Bonnie Douberley (late Bruce) of Walhalla, SC, Dr. Cynthia Nichols of Chapin, SC and Dr. Dianne Steinbeck (Larry) of Canton, GA.; her grandchildren, Trey Barnett (Cricket), Walt Barnett (Merry Ellen), Amber Hege, Dr. Nicole Workman (John), Dr. Nick Nichols (Shannon), Alli Woody (Eric) and Asher Steinbeck (Meredith); and her brother Dr. Bobby Lanford (Nancy Harper Lanford) of Auburn, AL.. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Walhalla Presbyterian Church (600 E Main St, Walhalla, SC 29691).
