She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pinkney Nix and Rossie Eugenia Burns; her brothers, Raymond Edward Nix, James Junior Nix, Charles Rodrick Nix, Mannon Edward Nix and Tommy Blease Nix; and her son Felix Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Patterson McCarley (Leo McCarley), Marty Patterson (Cheryl Summers) and Robin Patterson. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
In the time of a pandemic, we're all familiar with the term essential worker and honestly that's the best way to describe Mildred Patterson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mildred's memory may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672.
