She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence A. Kelley and Willie Faye Foster King; and her brother Al "Morris" Kelley. She is survived by: her close friend Lawrence Nichols; her children, Rodney Franks (Terri) and Kelley Franks-Samba (Ibrahima); and her grandchildren, Krystal Franks, TJ Allen, Katina Franks, Erica Edwards, Jennifer Burnett and Jesse Franks. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
