He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Leon Sanders and Betty Sue Roach Graham; and his brothers, Robbie Sanders, Tommy Sanders and Donnie Sanders.

He is survived by: his wife Jenny Darlene Gosnell Sanders; his children, Terry Johnathan Sanders (Kayla) of Westminster and Santana Lynn Welton (Allan) of Seneca; and his siblings, Michael Sanders of Seneca and Deobrah Roberts (Verlon) of Westminster. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
