We announce the death of Wayne Newport Blakely of Seneca, South Carolina, who passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Newport Leander and Edna F. Norris Blakely; his son Major Wayne Blakely; and his brother Richard Blakely. He is survived by: his wife Mary W. Patterson Blakely of Seneca; his stepchildren, Christina Lee and Jason Ward; and his grandchildren, Lacey Lee, Zachary Ward and Eli Ward.
