He was predeceased by: his mother Mabel Lois Smoak Crosby; his wife Mary Donna Platt Crosby of Sheldon; his sister Linda Crosby; and his grandfather Christian. He is survived by: his father Charles Esdorn Crosby; his partner Adell Gray; his children, Chuck Crosby (Tonya) and Donna Bradley (Gary); his siblings, Donald Crosby (Andrea), Cindy Mitchum (Tom) and Beth Bates; and his grandchildren, Megan Morris (Erin), Lauren Cannon, Alexandra Berry (Charlie), Emily Cochran (Justin), Carter Thibault, Brooke Crosby, Cory Bradley, Jessica Bradley and Preston Bradley (Lexi). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sheldon Baptist Church (15 Sheldon Baptist Church Dr, Beaufort, SC 29906). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those wishing to honor Allen's memory to make a memorial donation to Friends Of Caroline Hospice, in appreciation of the compassionate care and support they provide to families.
