With sadness, we share the passing of Michael Eugene Tolbert in Shulerville, South Carolina. Michael, born on April 11, 1945 in Concord, North Carolina, passed away on September 9, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dock Jones Tolbert and Marie Ball Tolbert; his wife Ellen Mae Roper Tolbert; and his grandson Edward Skipper. He is survived by: his children, Felisha Davidson, Erica Nole (Richard) and Aaron M. Tolbert (Ciji); his brothers, Paul Talbert and James Talbert; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Kama, Amber, Michael, Renayjah, Ian and James; and his great grandchildren, Marina and Kamiyah.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Halfway Creek Cemetery.
