He was predeceased by : his sister Teresa Gillette. He is survived by : his siblings, Ashley, James, Kathleen, Jerry, Kenneth, Julie, Patricia, Eileen, Paul and Michael; and his children, Lisa Marie Ryder, Monica Bowers, Zierra Bowers, Derrick Perry, Scotty Perry, Dustin Perry and Levi Ryder.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mj Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery (140 Inway Dr, Anderson, SC 29621).
