Barbara Jean Ewing Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Jean Ewing (Simpsonville, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marjorie Mitchell and Thomas Mitchell; her husband Dave; and her children, Richard David Ewing and Cynthia Marie Ewing Szczepanek.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mary, Elizabeth and Louise; her daughter Cheryl E. Bird; her son-in-law Gregory Szczepanek; and her grandchildren, Dara Ewing, Richard Bird, III, Caroline and Gabby Szczepanek.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Graceland East Memorial Park (2206 Woodruff Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29681).
