With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Brenda Barlow of Simpsonville, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Brenda left this world on October 15, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland E. Frazier and Lucille V. Frazier (Vaughn); her son David Heath Barlow; her siblings, Mary Anne Frazier and Rodney Frazier; and her nephew Mark Frazier, II.
She is survived by: her husband Jackie Barlow of Simpsonville, SC; her son Jackie Barlow II (Marie) of Simpsonville, SC; her siblings, Linda Kyle (Larry) of Mansfield, TX, Connie Bradford (Jeff) of Millsboro, DE and Mark Frazier (Sue) of Cooksville, MD; her sister-in-law Sue Frazier of Delta, OH; and her grandchildren, Shawna Hutton, Nikita Barlow, Kourtney Lammey, Alexa Lammey, Derick Barlow, Jackie Barlow III and Deven Barlow. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be sent to the Amedisys Hospice Care (Greenville), 10 Patewood Drive, Suite 375, Greenville, SC 29615, in memory of Brenda Barlow.
