With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Best (Simpsonville, South Carolina), born in Hibbing, Minnesota, who passed away on April 5, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Stephen N. Best; and her parents, Clifford Wayne Valo and Margaret Lena Shere Valo. She is survived by : her son Mark Best (Katie); her grandchildren, Emma Best, Luke Best and Evan Best; and her siblings, John Valo (Mavis) and Janet Ditmanson (Mark).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Renovation Church (611 Richardson St, Simpsonville, SC 29680). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Graceland East Memorial Park.
