He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Howard and Edith Winning Howard; and his sister Gail Locke. He is survived by: his wife Margret Howard; his son Mark Howard (Lori); his grandchildren, Grant, Jack, Dylan and Brooke Howard; his daughter Michele Hatfield (Chris); and his grandchildren, Cameron and Tyler Hatfield.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Southeast Chapel (1604 NE Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church (2252 Woodruff Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29681).
