We announce the death of Earline Howard of Simpsonville, South Carolina, who passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 97. Earline will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Batson and Irene Batson of Travelers Rest, SC.; her daughters, Hellen Segars and Marylin Segars; her sister Hazel Sinclair; and her granddaughter Kimberly Ann Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Harrell of Woodstock, Georgia; her grandchildren, Robbie Segars (Teresa) of Greenville, Sammy Segars (Margaret) of Greenville, Nancy Caroline Moore (Don Deacon) of Belton, Banyon Harrell (Casey Rose) of Charleston and Timothy Dale Brown of Greenville; her great grandchildren, Tyler Moore of Greenville, Donald Clinton Callahan Jr. of Belton, Luke Daniel Gault (Sally) of Piedmont and John Banyon Harrell of Charleston; and her great great grandchildren, Aiden Moore of Greenville and Olivia Moore of Greenville.
A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Memorial Park (7 Duncan Rd, Travelers Rest, SC 29690). A graveside service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in Earline's name to your local Humane Society.
