He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis Brashier, Sr. and Onie Lee Tucker Brashier; and his siblings, Fred Brashier, Lawrence Brashier, Lewis Brashier, Jr., Claude Brashier, Frank Brashier, Robert Brashier and Frances Brashier.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Stewart "Pat" Brashier; his children, Lauren Brashier and Adrian Brashier; and his grandson Lucas Brashier.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Unity Baptist Church (1000 Fairview Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29680). Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ed's honor to Meals on Wheels, 15 Oregon St, Greenville, SC 29605; or to The Salvation Army, 424 Westfield Street, Greenville, SC 29601.
