He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Lancaster and Elizabeth Lancaster; his former life partner Alice Moore Lancaster; his wife Dorothy Anne Lancaster; and his brother John Lancaster.

He is survived by : his children, Lisa S. King (Jeff), Edward "Chuck" E. Lancaster III, Sara "Beth" Elizabeth Clunan and Mary "Leslie" Armstrong; his stepdaughter Coley Raycraft; his brothers, Barry Lancaster and Charles Lancaster; his grandchildren, Daniel Clunan (Katelynn), Alan King (Sarah), Kara King (Tyler Chamberlain), Olivia Fitz (Roger Hawkins), Kingston Armstrong, Erin Armstrong, Edward Eli Lancaster IV and Mary Lancaster; and his great grandchildren, Alex Hawkins, Mary Elizabeth Clunan, Charlee Clunan and Vivian Alice Hawkins.
