She was predeceased by: her mother Nancy Stewart Watson; her grandparents, James Wilton Stewart, Sr. and Iris Owings Stewart; her friend Douglas McAfee; and her brother Douglas "Benny" Watson.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy; her son-in-law Aaron Lucas; her granddaughter Hunter Ellis Florence Lucas of Piedmont; her sister-in-law Maria Mayes Watson of Greenville; her nephew Benton Watson of Atlanta; and her cousin James Reid Stewart of Laurens.
