He was predeceased by: his spouse Shelby Jean Sams Green; and his parents, Glenn Carey and Jeanette Lucille Leahman Green. He is survived by: his daughters, Shelby Ann Green Rector and Jeanette Michelle Langston (Timothy); his siblings, Sheila Detty (Brian) and Ted "Abe" Green (Phyllis); his grandchildren, Alastin Acree (Dylan), Knollin Langston (Abi), Koein Langston, Austin Green and Ethin Green; his great grandchildren, Dezin Acree, Araylin Acree (Jorge), Weston Langston and Elsie Langston; and his great great grandchild Adylin Colindres.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Rd., Greenville, SC 29607.
