With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Nemesia Figueroa (Simpsonville, South Carolina), who passed away on May 24, 2026 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gloria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gloria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ramon Figueroa; and her parents, Eleusipo Arias and Elvira Arias. She is survived by: her daughter Marina Batista (Alberto); her grandson Daniel Batista (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Olivia and Parker Batista.
