While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Daniel and Thelma Reedy Altizer, Sr.; and his son Chuck Altizer. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Cookie" Lambert Altizer; his children, Shirley Poland (Roger), Carl Altizer and Rick Altizer (Suzanne); and his brother Jerry Altizer. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Altizer Hall, Calvary Baptist Church (3810 Grandview Dr, Simpsonville, SC 29680). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (3810 Grandview Dr, Simpsonville, SC 29680).
