She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Cobb and Mauddell Cobb Rushton; her brothers, Cleve Cobb, Marty Cobb and Jeff Cobb; and her stepfather Wilbur "Buck" Rushton.
She is survived by: her husband Tommy Morgan of Simpsonville; her sisters, Dell Panagakos (Walter) of Greenville, Gena Greer (Tyler) of Simpsonville and Ann Petrich (John) of Greenville; her sisters-in-law, Lynn Cobb of Greenwood and Sherry Cobb of Taylors; her children, Cindy Hightower (Scott) of Ellenboro, James King (Malou) of West Palm Beach and Heather Waters (Brandon) of Rutherfordton; and her grandchildren, Nichole Hightower, Jessica Caldwell, Jenavieve King, Jaedon King, Blake Waters, Carley Snethen, Walker Waters and Molly Waters. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Southeast Chapel (1604 NE Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
