He was predeceased by : his parents, James Albert Maxwell, Sr. and Dorothy Fowler Maxwell. He is survived by : his wife Vickie Hart Maxwell; his sons, Clark Maxwell (Carrie) and Jake Maxwell (Anna); his grandchildren, Luke and Sarah Maxwell; and his pets, Molly, Chubs, Charlotte and Lucky.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that a donation be made to Cross Roads Baptist Church Building Fund, 705 Anderson Ridge Road, Greer, SC 29651.
