He was predeceased by: his father James H. Gilbert Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Patricia H. Gilbert; his mother Nancy K. Gilbert; his daughter Haleigh Gilbert Horgan (Andrew); his granddaughters, Leighla Bee Horgan and Scarlett James Horgan; and his sister Cynde Gilbert Whitmire (Gary). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
