We announce the death of James Harvey Briggs (Simpsonville, South Carolina), who passed away on July 27, 2026, at the age of 72. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woody Briggs and Hazel Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Ann Briggs; his daughters, Jessie Garris and Rachel Dill; his sons-in-law, Gene Garris and Steven Dill; his granddaughters, Millie, Penny, Hannah, Sophie and Claire; and his sister Brenda Briggs Dispennette.
