He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Brown Harris; his children, Amy Harris Bell and Joe Harris (Kathryn); his grandchildren, Scott Bell (Tina Lin), Katherine Wallace McBride, Annalee Bell Graves (Adam), Emma Harris, Hannah Harris and Gabi Harris; his brother-in-law Johnny Mack Brown (Faye Brown); and his nieces, Alison Brown Rawl (Bubba) and Libby Brown Madden (Matt). He is also survived by cousins and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jimmie's honor to the Foothills Chapter of SC #301 of the Korean War Veteran's Association:150 Middleton Park Lane, Moore, SC 29369.
