He is survived by: his wife Donna Pridemore Hastings of Simpsonville; his son John Rutledge Hastings, Jr. (Kristen) of Inman; his grandchildren, Millie Kate Hastings, Holden Hastings, Macie Hastings, Lilyan Hastings, Davis Hastings and Layne Hastings; his stepdaughter Traci Landreth (Todd) of Easley; his stepgrandchildren, Christopher Wood, Courtney Wood, Haley Ramey and Chloe Lawrence; his stepson Todd Jarvis of Piedmont; his stepgrandchildren, Anna Jarvis and Jaxon Jarvis; his great grandchildren, Charlie Wood, Oaklyn Wood and Dean Ramey; and his siblings, Tina Barringer (Donald), Pamela Morgan (Michael) and James Hastings (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
