She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Satterfield and Ida Satterfield; and her daughter April Loraine. She is survived by: her children, Richard Shannon Smith (Heather), Jennifer Leigh Swift (Patrick) and Jeremy Allen Smith (Alisa); and her grandchildren, Jason West, Isabella Smith, Gabriella Smith, Peyton Smith, Trinity Smith, Hannah Swift, Sarah Grace Franz (Josiah), Samuel Swift, Benjamin Swift, Elodie Smith and Jasper Smith.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home – Simpsonville (313 N Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association (https://donorservices.alz.org) in Judy's name.
