With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lorena Ruth Mostella Matthews of Simpsonville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Lorena shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lorena farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Mostella and Nettie Hensley Mostella. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Mobley (Steve), Judy Crocker (Butch) and Susan Stephens (Rick). She is also survived by four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Simpsonville City Cemetery.
