He is survived by: his wife Yoki; his sons, Richard and Marcus; his grandchildren, Marcus, Jr., CJ, Gillian, Ainsley, Joshua, Sarah Elizabeth and William; his son John Gibson; Kathy. He is also survived by her brothers, her brother-in-law and her sisters in-laws.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the 1st Baptist Simpsonville-Chapel (106 Church St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cooper Veterans Cemetery (140 Inway Dr, Anderson, SC 29621).
