He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Moody and Nellie Moody Sr.; and his siblings, Ann Loftis Edwards and H. O. "Hank" Moody Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Jeffery Moody (Diane), Janice Moody and John Moody (Audra); his grandchildren, Michelle Key (Bobby), Tyra Moody, Alyssa Moody and Madison Moody; and his great grandchildren, Alexander Key, Xavier Key and Isaiah Key.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home – Simpsonville (313 N Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
