She was predeceased by : her parents, Timothy Haskin Valentine and Edna Stennett Valentine; her former life partner Gary Deril Zeigler; and her brothers, Jerry Valentine, Benny "Jo-Jo" Valentine (Joyce), Brent Valentine (Celia) and Ted Valentine (Betty).
She is survived by : her husband John Edward "Eddie" Byrd; her children, Beverly Turner (Jeff) and Timothy Deril (Tim); her grandchildren, Jeffrey "Daniel" Turner, Kristen Turner, Cassidy "Cassy" Zeigler and Bradyn Zeigler; and her stepchildren, Dickie Byrd and Sandy (Malcolm).
