He was predeceased by: his brother Chris Banks. He is survived by: his parents, Teresa Lynn Banks (Jimmy) and Ernie Tate; his significant other Carla Thomas; his daughters, Tristan Phillips (Kyle) and Katie Banks; his grandchildren, Harrison, Jaxon, Beckham, Vaeh, Emanuel, Addi and Lily; his stepfather Wayne Banks (Vickie); and his siblings, Kim Grant, Lynn Banks McCall, Jamie Tate (Rena) and Nick Tate. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Victory Worship Center (28010 Hwy 76 East, Clinton, SC 29325).
