It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen Douglas Gillen (Simpsonville, South Carolina), born in Lewiston, Maine, who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Jacquelyn Gillen. He is survived by: his wife Janice Gillen; his father Edward Gillen; his sons, Patrick Gillen and Teddy Gillen; his children-in-law, Melanie and Lauren; his grandchildren, Shay, Piper and Ward Gillen; and his brother Craig Gillen.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the First Baptist Simpsonville/Upstate Church (3 Hedge St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
