He was predeceased by: his father Jerry Godfrey. He is survived by: his mother Carol Godfrey; his wife Janelle Tripoli Godfrey; his children, Madelena Grace Long (Luke), Reis Stephen Godfrey and Ryan Leland Godfrey; his grandchild Avery Grace Long; and his brothers, Paul Godfrey and Adam Godfrey (Tricey).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cannon Byrd Funeral Home Simpsonville Chapel (313 N Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
