He is survived by: his wife Sarah Powers Butler; his children, Anthony Butler, Nicholas Butler (Christina), Catherine Butler (Carlos Gonzalez) and Matthew Butler (Ashley); and his brothers, James Butler (Ellen) and Richard Butler. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
