It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ted Edward Thackston of Simpsonville, South Carolina, born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis L. Thackston and Kathleen Young Thackston; and his brother Wendell L. Thackston. He is survived by: his nieces, Catherine Adams (Tony) of Simpsonville and Dr. Jennifer Kammer; his great-nephew Colt Adams; his aunt Mary Ann Griffith; and his uncle Bruce Young.
