He was predeceased by: his parents, William Reid and Zelpha Hughey Reid. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Reid; his children, Stephanie Yvonne Guzman (Robbie) and Jonathan L. Reid (Anita); his grandchildren, Christine Davis, Michael L. Reid and Ted Lee Reid; his siblings, Sandra Young (David), Susan Connelly (David) and Philip Reid (Donna); and his cousin Don Pitts (Bonnie).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home (313 N Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
