He was predeceased by: his parents, John Browning and Elmira Sims Browning; and his wife Mamie Lee Cheeks Browning. He is survived by: his daughter Valeree Maxine Browning Mason (Winston) of Cross Keys.
Viewing was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the W. J. Gist Memorial Chapel. A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the New Hope AME Zion Church (324 Minnow Bridge Rd, Union, SC 29379).
