It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Stephens Whitaker of Six Mile, South Carolina, who passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William C. "Bill" Whitaker. She is survived by: her children, Gail Hughes (Steve) of Liberty and Carl Whitaker (Sharon) of Six Mile; her grandchildren, Kamie Duncan (Scott) of Easley, Kyle Whitaker of Charlotte, NC and Karla Hughes of Liberty; and her great grandchildren, Kylie and Cole Duncan.
