He is survived by: his children, Carol Sloan (Tony) of Piedmont, Elizabeth Brownell (Alan) of Troutman, NC and Shane Porter (Jennifer) of Liberty; his grandchildren, Codie Sloan, Mackenzie and Katelyn Porter; and his sisters, Bobbie Abercrombie of Pickens and Sallie Sowell (Lynn) of Anderson.
