Jim Holliday Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jim Holliday of Six Mile, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 26, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jim departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jim may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jim leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Holliday and Vaudie Dillard Holliday. He is survived by: his wife Martha B. Holliday; his children, Ray Holliday (Donna) of Six Mile and Leigh Thomas (Bob) of Seneca; and his grandchildren, Jon and Howie.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mountain View Funerals and Cremations - Pickens Chapel (105 Florence St, Pickens, SC 29671).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jim's honor may be made to Ridgeland Drive Baptist Church, 185 Ridgeland Dr, Six Mile, SC 29682, or to the charity of your choice.
