She was predeceased by: her parents, Norvin Barker and Bertha Gilstrap Barker; her husband William Hamilton Black; her son Wayne Black; and her siblings, Dorothy Welborn, James Barker, Charles Barker, Geraldine Jones and Betty Ruth Whitaker.
She is survived by: her children, William Black (Chandra) and Theresa Porter (Edrew); and her siblings, Doyle Barker (Julia), Kenneth Barker (Mary) and Joyce Durham. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great- grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
