He is survived by: his wife Sara K. Strickland Lyons; his sons, Todd Lyons, Buddy Lyons, Jr. and Wade Lyons, Sr. (Lynette); his grandchildren, Jennifer Etheredge (Chad Shuler), Todd Lyons, Jr. (Mandy Martin), Wade Lyons Jr., Sara Craven (Dallas) and George Lyons; his great grandchildren, Victoria Webster (Jimmy), Aubrey Stokes (Gabriel), Russell Bowen, Abigail Etheredge, Briar Lyons, Emily Lyons, Katie Craven, Blake Craven and Barrett Craven; his great great grandchildren, Evelyn Webster and Braxton Stokes; his close friend Ned Carter; and his brother Steve Lyons of Branchville.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ott Funeral Home (7305 Freedom Rd, Branchville, SC 29432). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
