She was predeceased by: her parents, John Upchurch Sr. and Jessie Mae Simmons Upchurch; and her former husband Furman Roy "Mickey" Cook. She is survived by: her husband Ray Thomas; and her children, Chris Cook (Shaun) and Tina Bailey (Terry).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home (117 Paul St, Walterboro, SC 29488). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at the Glendale Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in her memory to the charity of one's choice.
