It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard O'Dell Jr. of Smoaks, South Carolina, born in Tioga, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 16, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard O'Dell, Sr. and Virginia Jean Schoonover O'Dell; his daughter Megan O'Dell; and his brothers, Roger O'Dell, Max Schoonover and Huey Wright.

He is survived by : his children, Otto O'Dell of Florida and Crystal Lynn of New York; his siblings, Terry Covell (Vanda), Forrest Wright (Annie), Billy Joe Wright (Samantha) and Marjorie Van Dusen; and his close friends, Freddy Myers and Gordon Green. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
