He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Morgan Harris, Sr. and Pearlie Ayers Harris; his wife Jan Harris; and his siblings, Alice Virginia Harris, Lillian Blue, Christine Petty and Luther Morgan Harris, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Mary Jo, Jimmy, Chyrl Ann and Jerry; his stepdaughters, Dorothy Lee Dejesus and Teri Maldonado Groves; his grandchildren, Gloria DeJesus Fennessy, Joseph DeJesus and Alyssa Groves Fallon Groves; and his sisters, Ann Brown (Bill) of Westminster, S. C. and Lottie Pruit of Fingerville, SC. He is also survived by twenty four nieces and thirty nephews.
