She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Byrd and Mildred Morrell Byrd; her sister Lois Hunter; and her husband Olden Otis Gainey. She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Neisler (Miller) of Pageland, SC, Joyce Cato (Pat) of Pageland, SC and Janet Oliver (Scott) of Jefferson, SC.; and her stepchildren, Greg Gainey (Sylvia) of Chesterfield, SC, Lisa Smoot (Willard) of Florence, SC and Lorey McClam of Cheraw, SC. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
