He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clifton and Ruby Amerson Chapman; his sons, Timothy Owen and Brent Chapman; and his siblings, John Thomas "Sam" Chapman, Sara Frances Chapman, Margaret Patty Driggers, Janie Caulder and Amy Driggers.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Allie Chapman, Addison Gemmell, Brena Chapman, Ava Arnold, Liam Arnold and Madi Arnold; his wife Kaye; his daughters, Tiffany Arnold (Chris) and Rosa Chapman; his sister Jean Caulder of Cheraw; and his pet Pete. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
